Shane Waller – 517 Made New, Inc.
My name is Shane Waller, I was born and raised in Southwest Ga. My biological birthday is January 8,1979. However April 2, 2011 is my rebirth date, this is the day that I completely surrendered my life over to Christ and was made brand new. The old life was like horrible nightmare with no awakening that was heading two ways, prison or six feet under. A life filled with drug and alcohol addiction, no self-worth, or no identity. After hitting rock bottom with no where to turn I realized there one way left, Jesus! The Lord gave me a complete heart exchange and restored all the broken pieces of my life. I now have a burning desire to share this cure to other men who are struggling with the same life patterns and are seeking the same freedom. We as men hold such a vital role in our households and in our communities. So my passion is reaching men no matter the age how to be godly leaders.

Building Faith Families Workshop Titles
The Divine Blueprint for Building a Family of Faith
In Deuteronomy 6, God’s simple and effective plan for the family begins with parents loving God with everything in them and having His word on their hearts. When parents have established their own relationship with God and His word, they are equipped to teach their children to love God and His word.
Loving Your Family as God Has Loved Us
The second command is to love others as we want to be loved. But the ‘new commandment’ that Jesus calls us to implement, is to love others as we have been loved by Him. This is a different perspective that focuses our attention on Jesus Himself and how He has loved us.
From Crisis to Christ, the Journey of a Husband and Father
With all of the best intentions, Steve set out to be the best Dad he could be for his four sons who are now adults. This adventure in parenting is a lifelong process and he is still learning how to have his heart restored to his children. As a dad he made many mistakes and had many of his own blind spots revealed. Thankfully God is a Redeemer and does work all things together for good.
Biblical Principles of Communication for the Family
Loving God and each other are relationships. Relationships are built on edifying communication. No one can build up, or tear down, more than those that we love the most. In this workshop we will examine how to hear and understand each other in a safe place.
Influence of Fathers
A plethora of studies have demonstrated the profound impact of fathers on their children. In this session we will explore the influence of Dads in scripture and how we can learn from what they did well and where they dropped the ball. God designed men to serve and lay their lives down for their wife and children.
How to Get Started Having Regular Times of Family Worship
Steve relates the ingredients for a doable plan of family worship. After many years of trying, God helped the Demmes make studying God’s word a daily part of their home. Steve also shares obstacles he wrestled with to lead his family in this crucial area.
The Family That Stays Together Stays Together
God created marriage and the family. Before Abraham, Moses, or Israel, God instituted the sacred institution of the family. Healthy God honoring families are the foundation for our churches and our culture. Transformation of our institutions begins in the home where each individual is rooted, grounded, and connected to God through the good news of Jesus, who is the cornerstone of a family of faith.
Five Strategies to Build Up and Encourage Our Wives
Steve relates insights he has gleaned from scripture on how God has designed our wives and ways that we can lay down our lives and apply biblical principles to build them up and encourage them in the Lord. When we lose our life we find it.
Celebrating Hope and Redemption in the Valleys of Life
This workshop is Steve’s testimony of the last twenty-five years as the father of a child with special needs. He shares what his family has learned as a result of Johnny’s disability, and the special, rewarding, and joyful role he has played in their lives. Even in the difficult experiences of life, God proved faithful. His grace sustained them and brought good out of their struggles and disappointments.
